STANDARD & OPTIONAL FEATURES FOR ALL BEST BULK BAG DISCHARGERS . . .BAG TRANSPORTER FRAME
B.E.S.T's Bag Transport Frame is designed for both fork truck and crane or hoist pick-up. The innovative tee handles with spring return, keeps bag loops in a safe, yet easily removable position. The MTU-2500 Economy Design with Fork Truck Pick-up is a square frame to fit the matching square support frame. The MTU-4000 Design with Hoist Feature, is a non-oriented, crucifix design. All transporter frames are painted safety yellow.
LOADING BY SELF-CONTAINED HOIST OR CUSTOMER'S CRANEAll B.E.S.T. Self-Contained Chain Type Hoists are 2 ton capacity and are supplied with a pendant operator control and a manual trolley. Lift speed is 16 FPM, as standard. A powered trolley is optional. Trolley Speed is 60 FPM as standard. Standard lift/travel is 10 ft. Air hoists for hazardous areas are available in a spark-proof design. Dischargers can be supplied for use with a customer crane, or in a crane bay for multiple unit unloading.
LOADING BY FORK TRUCKPhoto illustration depicts typical loading by fork truck, with transporter frame into an MTU-2500. A fork truck lift height of approximately 11'-6" is required with a discharge outlet elevation of 36", and a 60" high bag.
BAG UNTIE ACCESS DOOR
All dischargers are fitted with a bag untie hopper, with hinged access door, this enables the operator to untie the bag discharge spout, with the total weight of bag safely supported. A 3" diameter dust takeaway port is provided opposite the operator access door, to draw all air-borne dust away from the operator's face. An optional glove port design is available for toxic or environ-mentally hazardous products. This feature should only be employed when absolutely necessary, as bag untying can be more time consuming and encumbered with this design. A sanitary food product design is also available with a special spout clamping feature for internal bag liners. |
