FACIAL SEAL FOR BAG NOSE

All standard dischargers incorporate a neoprene facial seal with 17" diameter discharge outlet for a dust-tight operation. For sanitary requirements FDA approved, white neoprene is available.

BAG PINCHER OPTION

B.E.S.T.'s "Pincher Option" consists of two UHMW elliptical pincher bars powered by two individual air cylinders, to pinch off bag spout for removal of partially discharged bags. The access door is provided with a safety interlock to prevent cylinder closing with door in the open position.

B.E.S.T. also can provide an 18" diameter (360° ships hand wheel) IRIS valve at the bag neck above the access door to restrict product flow. The pincher or IRIS valve is not designed to close off flow in a static condition, but rather a dynamic moving flow.

BAG LINER TENSIONER OPTION

The liner tensioner mechanism is mounted on top of the bag transporter frame. It is a spring-loaded, hand-crank device with bag attachment clip, that prevents the plastic liner in a bulk bag, from extruding downward into ancillary feeding equipment during the discharging process.

BAG EXTENSION FEATURE

The Bag Extension Feature is a design where the upper-most bag transporter support frame of the discharger is mounted on four permanently gas-filled cylinders. As load in the bulk bag is diminished, the frame raises the bag, elongating the bag nose, for more effective dischargin. Photo illustration to right, depicts an MTU-2500 with 304 stainless product contact surfaces, level control with automatic signaling for agitation and an 8" diameter IRIS valve at outlet.
